Bio
Roshan Roymon (he/she) is an MA/PhD Regents Fellow in the Feminist Studies department. They hold a Postgraduate Diploma from Ashoka University, where they explored queer theory, ethnomusicology, and queer literature, film, and culture. They later co-taught Queering Goa, a community engagement course at the Goa Institute of Management, alongside Dr. Andy Silveira and Dr. Muneeb Ul Lateef Banday. Roshan’s work spans multiple methods and theoretical approaches, engaging with (auto)ethnographic, archival, and creative-critical methods to examine issues in critical disability studies, queer theory and queer-of-color critique, medical humanities, and queer, Black, Brown, and Dalit art criticism.
Apart from being a PhD student, Roshan is also interested in music, photography, and creative writing.
