Alex Mireles is a doctoral candidate in Feminist Studies at UC Santa Barbara, and "researches Latinx fashion, media, and visual cultures, exploring themes of identity, queerness, labor, and global capitalism. She has previously worked behind the scenes in fashion, print, film, and commercial campaigns as a wardrobe stylist, production assistant, line producer, assistant director, and more!"
