Bio:
Dr. Anna Wald (she/her) is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Gender Studies Program at the University of Notre Dame. She was previously appointed as Visiting Assistant Professor in Gender and Sexuality Studies at Bates College. She received her Ph.D in Feminist Studies from UC Santa Barbara in June 2022. She is the previous recipient of the UCSB President's dissertation year award, and the Mendell Graduate Fellowship in Cultural Literacy. Her recent work has been published in the Routledge edited collection Identities and Intimacies on Social Media. Her research focuses on race, gender, and technology, with a specialization in digital culture studies, online discourse analysis, and racialized media.
