Feminist Studies graduate student Amoni Thompson-Jones' research is featured in the new publication The Black Girlhood Studies Collection. This publication is "one of the first collections to exclusively explore, develop, and evaluate theories of Black girls and Black girlhoods" and has been created featuring scholars from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds. Tompson-Jones' writes Chapter 3: The Politics of Black Girlhood and a Ratchet Imaginary.
